KWVA GENERAL MEETING NOTICE
 
Our next General Meeting will be held on Thursday, November 20th at Tracy Gee Community Center, 3599 Westcenter in Houston. Tracy Gee is located one block east of the Sam Houston Tollway, between Richmond and Westpark. The meeting begins at 7:00PM, but plan to arrive between 6:00PM and 7:00PM for social time, a time to meet and be with old and new friends.
 
There will be reports on the status of a variety of projects in progress and those just completed, as well as upcoming events. If you are planning to attend the Chapter Christmas Luncheon on Saturday, December 13th then you need to sign up at the meeting. The final deadline is December 6th.
 
Benny Younger's daughter and son-in-law will be on hand to deliver the FREE 8 x 10 pictures of the members taken at the November meeting. Come to the meeting and pick up your picture.
 
The Board meeting and General meeting schedules for 2009 have been finalized. Copies of the schedule will be available at the meeting. Be sure you get one because there are some significant changes to the schedule next year. Carlos Ballard, our President, will explain these changes at the meeting.
 
Also, this will be your last chance to buy raffle tickets for the Chapter's first American flag, which will be raffled off at the meeting.  All in all, it promises to be an interesting and informative meeting.
 
We will be videotaping our last member of the year, Roland English, who will talk about his Korean War experience.
 
This will be a great Meeting to attend, so plan to come out and join us to stay up with all that's happening and for the opportunity to spend some time with your fellow Korean vets. New members and/or visitors are always welcome to come and join us as well. See you there!
