KWVA GENERAL MEETING NOTICE

Our next General Meeting will be held on Thursday, February 21st at Tracy Gee Community Center, 3599 Westcenter in Houston. Tracy Gee is located one block east of the Sam Houston Tollway, between Richmond & Westpark. Social time is from 6:00-7:00PM. The Meeting will start at 7 PM.

At this month's Meeting we will be discussing upcoming events, such as the St. Patrick's Day Parade and the March Meeting events including the potluck dinner, the Jerry Weber Awards, and the annual election of Officers. If you have not already turned in your election ballot then bring it to the Meeting and give it to the Chapter Secretary, Bob Bighouse. We have four candidates running for two Director positions so your vote is important. The ballot was in the last Warrior. If you don't have it, go to the Warrior on the website and download it.

Also at this Mee ting you can sign up for our annual "Honor All Veterans Day" at Minute Maid Field. The date is Saturday, May 24th. Game time will be 6:05 PM. The honorees on the field beforehand will include some of our members, so please plan to attend. Tickets are $10. each for Mezzanine seats. If you wish to go, and sit with our Chapter members, make your check out to Bob Mitchell. Bob will buy the tickets and distribute them at the April General Meeting. Bob will not be at the February meeting but Henry Martinez will have the sign up sheet and will collect the checks. Remember, family, friends and neighbors are welcome as well.The more the merrier. If you can't make the Meeting, mail your check to the Chapter P.O. Box.

Plan to come to the Meeting Thursday and to the Ballgame in May.
