Our next General Meeting will be held on Thursday, June 19th at Tracy Gee Community Center, 3599 Westcenter in Houston. Tracy Gee is located one block east of the Sam Houston Tollway, between Richmond & Westpark.
The meeting begins at 7:00PM, but plan to arrive between 6:00PM and 7:00PM for social time, a time to meet and be with old and new friends.

 

We will be distributing the shirts ordered by a number of our ladies. Ladies, come and get your shirt.. And bring your checkbook!

 

The DVD from the May 4th ballgame has been received from the Astros. Each of our Chapter honorees and Color Guard members who attended will receive their own copy. We plan to show the DVD for all to see. Running time is only 5-6 minutes.

 

There will also be a report on the status of the National Museum, and the ongoing update of our website. In addition, information will be given on the
June 20th Socks & Caps Distribution at the VA Hospital, the July 26th Armistice event at Bear Creek Park and the plans for a Celebration Dinner on August 2nd for orphan children. All in all, it promises to be an interesting and informative meeting. To cap it all off, Bob Hanks will be relating his Korean War experiences for the video camera.

 

This will be a great Meeting to attend, so plan to come out and join us to stay up with all that's happening and for the opportunity to spend some time with your fellow Korean vets. New members and/or visitors are always welcome to come and join us as well. See you there!
