TLSC MARCH GENERAL MEETING SET FOR MARCH 18TH 2010

It is that time of year again- the March Chapter meeting which is always one of the highlights of the Chapter year- Great food and fellowship, the awarding of the Gerry Weber to a Chapter Member or Members and the Annual Election of Officers and Directors.

Check the current March edition of the Warrior (access to the Warrior is easily done through this website) for more information on the Potluck Supper and full details as to what to bring etc .Chris Carnero is coordinating the Dinner this year Thank you Chris- it is in good hands.

This year we will be electing two Officers (2nd Vice President and Treasurer) and two Directors. Ballots need to be received by 15 March 2010.You can obtain a ballot through this website by going to our Home Page and calling up the KWV Newsline. Please remember that only Regular or Life Members in good standing are eligible to vote

Finally , the 2010  Gerry Weber Award or Awards Recipient or Recipients will be announced and recognized. It is important to note that this year there was more participation by Chapter Members in this activity than at any time in the past and that is great and as it should be.

Committee reports will be brief and important updates as to future planned events
such as a 60th Anniversary of the Beginning of Korean War Ceremony to be held in Austin at the State Capitol on 25 June  2010 will be given.
